Title: SAP Specialist Location: Fairfield, NJ area Duration: Direct Hire Schedule: Full Time Target Start Date: January 2022 Responsibilities: First level support needs to understand and solve SAP problems especially in the quality and logistic areas

Work with IS personnel on SAP user problems including all aspects of troubleshooting

Train SAP users in different modules, functions and processes

Train existing users in new business processes and SAP applications

Write training manuals and user guides

Improvement of workflows and SAP customizing settings

Aid in the design, configuration and testing of various SAP modules: Primarily QM, MM, WM and PP with secondary emphasis on SD

Change customizing settings as required

Test customizing settings

Handling and completion of GMP change control procedures

User set-up and configuration

Ensuring compliance with FDA, and other applicable regulations, laws and industry best practices

Carry out complex or creative assignments requiring the development of new or improved procedures

Provide detailed knowledge of industry best practices

Acts as a liaison with internal clients for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze and solve software problems and map internal business requirements, processes and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy business needs

Maintain a thorough knowledge of the organization and adheres to all organizational standards

Requirements:

Minimum BS in a computer science, information systems, engineering or related

At least 4 years’ experience in a data management systems

Possess both functional and technical knowledge of SAP of defined modules with practical skills in these modules for at least 48 months

SAP configuration and customizing experience required. At least one full lifecycle SAP implementation experience preferred

Bar coding experience required

General awareness of IS technologies such as printing, labeling, WIFI and mobile device configuration is preferred

Project management experience in a highly technical industry is preferred

Ability to understand and execute cGMP software validation procedures, including preparation or text cases.
