Securitized Product Trader

Job Description

We seeks a talented and highly motivated individual to join its Asset-Backed Strategies (ABS) unit in New York. The ABS team invests in public securities, private opportunities, and opportunistic situations across various consumer, real estate, and structured credit sectors. The trader will be an integral part of the investment team and would be responsible for generating and executing investment ideas across securitized products in a hedged relative-value strategy. On a daily basis, this individual will track markets in order to help form views on relative value, research investment themes, develop trading forecasts, and execute effective trades. The trader could work across a breadth of sectors and instruments within and adjacent to securitized products.

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, along with four to eight years of relevant experience, is required, as is experience trading at a buy or sell-side firm. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record of academic and professional achievement, excellent communication skills, and a disciplined, process-oriented investment philosophy. Exposure across multiple asset classes is preferred.
