Technical Writer

To create easy-to-understand user content and product documentation to increase product clarity, performance, and usability.

Responsibilities:

• Follow safe work practices and procedures, and ensure a "safety first" culture in every task undertaken• Work with internal teams to understand manufacturing documentation requirements• Create strong content that fulfils company standards and production audience goals• Write straight-forward work instructions and diagrams• Manage through planning, developing, organizing, writing and editing operational procedures and manuals• Analyze current content to maintain continuity and make improvements as necessary• Manage and process updates and revisions to technical literature• Perform any other duties as reasonably directed

Minimum Position Requirements: • AS or AAS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred• Proven experience working in a technical writing position• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Strong attention to detail• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings• Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences• Skilled in prioritization and multi-tasking
