Accounts Payable Analyst

Job Description

The Accounts Payable roles involves providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the organization. Their role is to complete payments and control expenses by receiving payments, plus processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.

• Checks and approves vouchers for payment

• Analyzes vendor accounts and reconciles with vendor statements

• Maintains accounts payable files and answer vendor inquiries

• Prepares analysis of accounts, as required

• Data entry of invoice information into AS400

• Processes weekly check runs

• Assists in monthly closings

• Assists with special projects, as necessary

• Helps coordinate job activities and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Two-year Accounting degree or High school diploma and one to three years related experience in Accounts Payable; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Prior accounts payable experience preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• May require 45 hours and some Saturdays
