Senior React Engineer - UI Focus (ReactJS/HTML5/CSS3)

What you’ll be doing

• Crafting world-class web applications & interfaces using TypeScript / ReactJS / Node.js / HTML5 / styled-components / Express & Webpack

• Working in small autonomous Agile squads

• Building the next generation news experience used by millions

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years commercial experience working with ReactJS

• 5+ years commercial experience building high quality web interfaces

• Advanced knowledge of CSS and ability to write modular, clean CSS from the ground up

• Able to accurately translate Sketch/Figma files into high quality responsive markup

• A solid understanding of semantics and accessibility

• A self-starting, inquisitive nature

• A continuous improvement mindset

• A strong focus on quality

Bonus Points

• Experience using Javascript testing frameworks and libraries such as React Testing Library & Jest

• Experience using styled-components

• Exposure to Docker
