We are currently interested in adding to our staff a full-time Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant who will be handing bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and daily office functions for the company. You will be the company’s liaison with the Bookkeeping and Payroll Service, organizing and prepping all needed documents and information when needed. This position is full-time with at least three days in the office and possibly two days from a home office. We are looking for someone who has five years of experience in Bookkeeping/Administrative work and has preferably one year experience doing bookkeeping in the construction or Real Estate Investment industry. The ideal candidate will be assertive with a tactful manner and expected to foster successful business relationships. The Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant candidate should have a collaborative, goal oriented and positive attitude, as well as being organized and flexible. Candidate must possess clear verbal and written communication skills to engage on multiple levels professionally. We are looking for a professional who does not mind wearing multiple hats.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Basic bookkeeping duties for the company
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Liaison with company bookkeeping/payroll service
Following up on past due invoices
Assist in the preparation of quotes and contracts
Coordinate with team to ensure project schedules are up to date and maintained
Coordinate installations with contractors
Work with technical support and vendors to maintain firm’s technology equipment
Perform critical general office activities such as opening mail, scanning, filing, managing office supplies, receiving, and preparing and tracking FedEx, UPS, etc. shipments. Other duties as assigned, or as responsibilities increase
Qualifications:
5 years’ experience in bookkeeping
Excellent proficiency in QuickBooks
Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication and interpersonal skills are required
Bookkeeping/Office Administration background with preferred one year experience in the Construction/Real Estate Investment Industry
Have a focus on detail, self-motivated, flexible, and outgoing
Ability to work collaboratively, as well as with autonomy
Able to be punctual, plan and organize your workday, and prioritize duties
Occasionally perform under stress, and unafraid and able to meet deadlines – maintain a positive attitude.
