Job Description

Analysts form the foundation of Publicis Media Consulting. They pull and arrange data from a multitude of sources to feed business-improving insights, then build thoughtful presentations and reports that bring the story home to our clients. A successful Analyst in this position should be able to get in the weeds of campaign management and simultaneously act as the primary reporting expert on the team. As the analytics specialist on this team, your job will entail owning the reporting process end to end. This individual will work across a variety of high profile clients in various verticals.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand data outputs across multiple platforms and how they fuel optimizations
  • Manage recurring reporting deliverables across Programmatic, Social, and Search channels
  • Pull data from various 3rd-party ad servers, Demand Side Platforms and Social Platforms
  • Merge data sets from different platforms to provide weekly reporting views and custom dashboards for the Precision trading team
  • Derive insights and recommendations from campaign performance reports that are actionable
  • Maintain a pulse on optimizations and campaign changes
  • Maintain data hygiene within client data sets to ensure reporting accuracy
  • Manage and use our proprietary business intelligence tools to power actionable insights
  • Write clear concise PowerPoint Presentations summarizing data insights, outcomes and implications in a straight-forward and enlightening way
  • Deliver or support ad-hoc reporting requests

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Advanced Excel skills a must (able to work with complex Excel formulas and macros)
  • Experience implementing code solutions in order to answer analytic questions, perform diagnostics on results, and assess performance trends
  • Maintain, update, and adapt databases containing data from multiple sources advertising solutions deployed by your client
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Data Studio, Datorama & etc.) and relational databases
  • Demonstrated experience in assembling client facing data visualization
  • Ability to query large databases (SQL) is highly valued, along with another statistical languages such as Python and R
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with more than one of the following ad technologies: third-party ad servers, specifically Campaign Manager and demand side platforms such as DV360, The Trade Desk, Amobee, or Verizon Media
  • Experience with more than one of the following social platforms: Facebook / Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest
  • Use of Webtrends, Adobe Analytics (FKA Omniture), Google Analytics is a plus
  • Must be meticulous with a knack for fine tuning the details
  • Hands on experience managing platform activated media
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google BigQuery
