Job Description

Product Analytics at Broadridge plays a key part in building increased understanding of our products, our customers, and our businesses so that we can help our product teams make better decisions. We work cross-functionally to develop and share insights, combining qualitative understanding and quantitative analysis. As a member of the team, you’ll have an opportunity to work with high-caliber individuals to drive strategic and operational improvements at our company. You’ll compile and synthesize analytical insights, suggest action items and next steps to guide strategic decision-making, and will help prepare and/or deliver presentations on your insights to various partners across the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with all areas of the business (product, sales, marketing, technology development) to provide scalable reports, dashboards and visualizations that inform key partners
  • Build and maintain reports, models, and visualizations which provide insight into businesses and products
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards using a variety of tools (e.g., PBI, OAC) that monitor performance metrics of products helping our team and organization be more data-driven
  • Generate insights to define and refine product opportunities and business cases, helping us make more impactful decisions
  • Work with our Data Enterprise Business Intelligence team to ensure data models are performant
  • Provide ongoing research and competitive analysis that support product strategy, product development, competitive positioning, and other product management efforts
  • Maintenance and review of internal product databases that support the firm’s product registry and reporting systems
  • May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

Examples:

  • 2-4 years of relevant, analytical experience
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • Degree in an analytical field of study such as Economics, Finance, Math, or Statistics
  • Experience using Excel is strongly preferred
  • Experience using software to extract, analyze, organize, and communicate data to support decision-making such as SQL, R or others
  • Experience using business intelligence tools like Power BI, Oracle Analytics Cloud
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to learn
