Scientist III Group Leader

Job Description

• Run routine assays and develop novel separation and identification assays utilizing state-of-the-art technologies.
• Be responsible for separation, characterization, identification of proteins and antibodies utilizing HPLC, cIEF, BioA/GX, as well as other analytical techniques.
• Developing HPLC & UPLC based chromatography methods including size exclusion, affinity, normal-phase, reverse phase, ion exchange and hydrophobic interaction utilizing DAD, FLD detectors.

Qualifications

• Requires BS/BA in Chemistry or related sciences or equivalent along with relative experience (preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries). Will substitute relevant work experience in lieu of degree requirement

• At least 1 year of experience running assays in a laboratory

• HPLC and UPLC method development experience
• Experience running routine assays and developing novel separation and identification assays
• Experience and thorough understanding of HPLC and UPLC based chromatography (including size exclusion, affinity, normal-phase, reverse phase, ion exchange, and hydrophobic interaction utilizing DAD, FLD detectors)
• Strong organizational, communication, collaboration, comprehension and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
