Job Type: Production MaintenanceJob Posting Title: Maintenance Planner/Scheduler Job DescriptionResponsible for planning and scheduling all preventive and corrective maintenance activities for food manufacturing facility. Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize and work independently is necessary for success in this position. Must be flexible regarding hours of work. Collaboration with night shift necessary from time to timeEssential Duties And Responsibilities- Actively promote and enforce safe working practices
- Provide leadership, technical advice, training and coaching in maintenance execution
- Ensure that all internal maintenance customers receive timely, efficient and quality service. Must assist Operations in balancing schedule adherence with equipment reliability through proactive maintenance.
- Responsible for long-range as well as short-range planning
- Plan and schedule maintenance downtimes by developing shutdown reference systems (including a file of planned job packages and parts kits)
- Create and maintain equipment records, Work Orders, Bills of Material (BOM) and technical documentation library
- Work with storeroom team to rank critical spare parts
- Work with Team Leaders to prioritize and execute work orders
- Facilitate failure analysis
- Help develop Planned Maintenance programs using data related to Breakdowns, Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), percent planned work, and work order generation/completion.
- Measure KPI performance and drive improvements
- Coordinate outside contractor activities
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Electro-mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
- 5 years of maintenance planning, scheduling experience
- Experience/training related to continuous improvement programs
- Able to work professionally and effectively with all personnel in plant
- Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
- Effective computer skills including: CMMS packages and Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- High-School Diploma/GED required
- Technical Degree preferred
