Tire Tech/Mechanic Wanted (FERNLEY)

Cyclone Transport LLC is currently seeking a professional, reliable and safety-minded Tire Tech/Mechanic who exhibits our values of service, integrity, and quality. Candidates must be self-motivated, honest, and hardworking.

Our Requirements:

- Have a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle required for the position and be able to meet commercial driver qualification requirements, including be at least 21 years of age.

- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (3 year)

- 12 months of tire/mechanic experience

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Possess a mechanical aptitude

- Willing to perform service calls on nights and/or weekends on a rotating basis

- Is able to follow directions, while also being self-reliant

Job Description:

- Dismount and mount any type of tire on drop center, semi-drop center and multi- piece rims.

- Determine tire condition and make repairs or remove tires for retreading or disposal.

- Matching and mating of dual assemblies

- Keeping tires inflated to proper pressure

- Clean and maintain service vehicles and all tire equipment

- The qualified individual must be willing and able to drive a service vehicle to where a driver is having a problem, and be able to repair or replace their tire(s) as needed. Job duties may be performed at the company location or on service calls on the side of a highway. This position operates in all types of indoor and outdoor work environments, therefore exposure to heat and cold is to be expected.
