DRIVER (truck) and LABOR - Construction

Wanted General Laborer with primary focus on construction labor, truck driving (pulling trailer), and site cleaning. Clean driving record, towing experience, painting experience, and some general project skills for work with Truckee-based General Contracting firm, specializing in custom home building and renovations.

We're looking for someone to fill a part or full- time position.

This position will be the go-to guy (or Gal!)for maintaining job site cleanliness, ensuring that materials are organized and protected, safety and site protection is maintained, job site is clean, clean, clean. . . of snow (need to shovel a lot), of dust (need to sweep, a lot), and of trash (need to pick up and vacuum).

Additionally, there will be frequent tasks, such as painting/staining, sanding, assembling, moving materials/scaffolding, site clean-up, landscaping/digging, driving the dump trailers, etc.

Will occasionally assist carpentry crew in some tasks but general labor is what this proud position is.

Must be extremely motivated and take real initiative, demonstrating the ability to stay busy while working independently on most projects while always keeping the site clean and organized. Lazy butts need not apply(!).

While efficiency is preferred, quality is demanded. Sites are expected to be kept clean and organized, to the highest standards.

Starting pay at $18/hr, and up to $22/hour range depending upon experience and responsibilities, and whether or not you have clean driver's license and truck/trailer driving skills, for picking up materials and handling the dump runs (truck with trailer), etc.

Must have reliable transportation and be fluent in English.

Must have a clean driving record.

All job sites are non-smoking, drug-free, and pet-free.

All personnel on a job site are required to abide by OSHA safety protocol.
