Sr. Infrastructure Architect

The Infrastructure Architects will design and implement information systems that support an enterprise infrastructure. They will provide the necessary technical infrastructure for the development of new infrastructure technologies and system requirements. These professionals must possess a demonstrable knowledge of system administration and software development. They must be able to work in coordination with the enterprise and attend to their computing needs and requirements. The Infrastructure Architect will have the opportunity to work with the complex systems infrastructure and will make the necessary modifications. The architect will take care of complete detail analysis of infrastructure design and security standards.This is a unique opportunity for someone to be a leader in an environment where they can be instrumental in recommendation and consultation on monitoring and interoperability to the enterprise IT Staff organization. Responsibilities: Physical and logical design, sizing, interoperability, scaling and security aspects of all hardware and software components of the solutionsProvide advice and consultation on orchestration, monitoring & interoperability to the extended IT staffReview, evaluate and make technology recommendations to improve the current infrastructure as well as participate in design reviews of software and hardware projects.Analyze, assess and recommend changes and improvement of current infrastructure implementationCoordinate, establish trust and influence internal teams in order to deliver key business projects and IT initiatives including the design and planning of technical proof of concepts.Recruit, mentor and train new personnelJob Requirements Must have 10+ years working in the IT industry.Experience in architecting, designing infrastructure environments with distributed enterprise systems and developing architecture and implementation standards5+ years of infrastructure architecture and engineering experience including virtualization, cloud, server, storage, and networking (i.e: VMWare, Openstack, Openshift, Kubertenes, dockers, etc.)3+ years of leadership experienceExperience in Cloud Computing, IaaS, PaaS, SaaSKnowledge of DevOps, containers, microservices, APIs, infrastructure & cloud orchestration and monitoring technology
