This includes delivering against corporate initiatives related to cost reduction, cost avoidance, supplier rationalization and continually benchmarking purchasing and process practices to effectively translate the analysis into action. Provide subject matter expertise and be a trusted advisor in regard to sourcing and procurement.The Main ResponsibilitiesNegotiates / re-negotiate new and existing agreements or statements of work, including RFI’s and RFP’s

Prepares RFx documents, communication plans, and contract awards

Actively partner with legal teams and business unit stakeholders to develop and execute negotiation strategies that include optimal targets for pricing, service, and quality.

Continually identify and implement new opportunities for cost savings, cost avoidance and proactively tracks these objectives

Implement and measures cost savings, reduction and avoidance programs and strategies. Continually refine these programs to deliver optimal results for the company.

Provides subject matter expertise and is a trusted advisor in sourcing/procurement field.

What We Look For in a CandidateBachelor’s Degree

Possess 5+ years of relevant procurement or project management experience or other relevant contract management / negotiation experience, preferably in telecom construction and engineering. preferred with business concentration / major or minor

Ability to work with various levels of management within the organization including executives.

Experience with RFP / RFx preferred

Telecom construction and engineering experience preferred

Strong organizational and personal skills

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Team player with ability to work well with peers

Process management and documentation skills

Strategic thinker

CPM / CSPM Certification is a plus
