The Role:

We are looking for a motivated Warehouse Manager to build, transform, oversee, and manage all warehousing, and delivery processes in our Littleton, CO location. This role requires the ability to manage ordering material, tracking, receiving and delivery.

We are looking for a seasoned leader who is energized by growing and developing processes to effectively control inventory management and delivery; someone who is passionate about delivering the best experience to our customers and is both process and people-savvy. The ideal candidate can think tactically and strategically, ensuring that the operation is successful today, and learns and improves every day. They are skilled at seeing around corners, setting up people for success, and operating, building, and improving processes that serve customers, partners, employees, and the company. Adaptability, continuous learning, accountability and ownership, and people leadership are all critical to thriving in this role.

There are many moving pieces in the warehouse on a daily basis. A few examples:

Outbound: Preparing orders to deliver to our customers. On a daily basis, this would include picking, verifying, assembling, cleaning/refurbishing, etc.

Receiving New Inventory: Checks in new inventory from vendors. Items are received, labeled, and organized properly in inventory.

Pickups/Returns from Customers: Returned items at the end of a customer installation are received on a daily basis. You will be responsible to ensure all returned items are of the highest quality before being placed back into inventory (and in turn, another customer), including inspection, quality control, cleaning, and refurbishment.

Deliveries: Loading/unloading and driving delivery trucks, making deliveries, performing pickups, swaps, and mobile service, and generally being the in-person representation of the company. Ensuring processes, vehicles, and employees are geared toward reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Physical Demands: Warehouse and assembly work with extended walking, standing, pulling, pushing, and lifting. Fast paced environment, lifting 50+ lbs. items, with regular use of hand & power tools.

New process, tool, program, and product implementation.

Communication of current performance, sharing of best practices, and transparency and coordination with headquarters-based teams for improvement and new capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Drive safety, quality, efficiency, and repeatability throughout the operation everyday with continuous improvement and learning.

Demonstrate leadership by guiding others through periods of ambiguity and encouraging the same mindset within the team.

Inspire, develop, and support the team in achieving our goals while driving our company mission on individual, team, and overall levels.

Promote innovation by encouraging your peers to find ways to do things more effectively, ask customer-centric questions, share their learnings with the rest of the team, and work through challenges and obstacles together.

Make informed decisions and respond to changing operational needs effectively.

Develop and maintain open, proactive, and constructive communication with all departments to facilitate the effective and timely fulfillment of orders, and to quickly resolve issues both within and between departments.

Monitor departmental efficiency and effectiveness and make operational changes as needed to improve them.

Develop and improve KPIs to measure certain warehouse functions, outputs, and support cost control.

Schedule labor for efficiency and cost effectiveness and monitor all costs.

Maintain the health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the building and staff.

Skills & amp; Qualifications:

Minimum of a 4-year college degree or equivalent

5+ years of Warehouse Management experience in a leadership role

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and G Suite (Google Sheets, Docs, Slide), a familiarity with Slack, and a love for learning new systems.

Preferable experience in the home improvement industry

Ability to handle multiple, and at times, conflicting priorities.

Continuous improvement mindset

Incredible ownership and accountability, taking pride in your work and the development and success of your team.

Ability to demonstrate experience with KPIs and understand and develop them to improve efficiencies.

Strong budget management skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.

Must have valid driver's license and proof of insurance. Clean driving record is a must.
