Sign Fabrication, Graphics & Production Position

Who We Are:

We are a growing, full-service sign company, located in Englewood, CO, that has served the Denver metro area and the I-25 corridor since 1996. We work with both local and national customers providing surveys, permits, designs, fabricating a wide range of sign types, installation and service repair. We produce most of our work in house.

We are looking to add a new Sign & Graphics Production person to our team. In this role you will use graphics software, vinyl cutting machines, and other machines & hand tools, and equipment to produce electrical, neon, vinyl and other signs in our workshop. This is a physical and hands-on position, not a computer-based design only graphics job. We have another person that does a majority of our graphic design for us. This is more of a production role, but requires knowledge of the programs used to create the designs. Our Core Beliefs

- Willing to teach others and share knowledge.Sign & Graphics Production Skills Needed in the Ideal Candidate include:

- Experience with vinyl plotting programs, like Gerber Omega or Flexi.

- Experience with vinyl plotters and different methods of vinyl application to various substrates.

- Experience with large format / digital printers and laminators.

- Knowledge of lettering, design, and installation types.

- Understanding of outputting to CNC routers.

- Knowledge of electrical signs (Channel letters, cabinet signs, neon, LED)

- Must have a strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite software.

- Strong computer skills and knowledge of both MAC’s and PC’s preferred. Should be email and internet proficient.

- Candidate will be trained to spray paint signs in spray booth.Requirements for all qualified applicants:

- Colorado driver's license with good driving record (You must be insurable by our company. If there is an issue with your license or any reason you cannot be insured by our auto insurance carrier, please do not apply. Driving is a requirement for this job.). There is a company vehicle provided, and sometimes may be asked to use your own vehicle for which you will be compensated for.

- Basic understanding of electricity

- Can read, write, and spell well

- Good working knowledge and experience with construction tools (portable drills, saws, grinders, etc.)

- Comfortable driving in traffic and following directions on a smartphone

- Can understand simple blueprints and drawings

- Solid basic math skills

- Must have reliable transportation

- The physical ability and desire to consistently be on your feet and occasionally lifting 80 – 100 lbs.,

- Enjoy daily physical labor and working with your hands

- Understanding of various types of installation fasteners & installation methods is preferred

- Able and willing to work outside, year-round in the heat or the cold

- Able to present a professional appearance, (tattoos and piercings must be covered at all times during work, be well-groomed, and well-dressed during business hours)

- Must be comfortable with heights, ladders, and boom lifts

- Be available to work 40 hours per week, every week

2 years of experience in sign production is highly preferredPay & Hours:

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm. Opportunity for advancement in our growing, stable company.

Hourly. 1-1/2 overtime pay, after 40 hours. Working on weekend is extremely rare. Overtime pay does not happen that much either.

2 or more years of experienced as Sign & Graphics Production Person - $20 - 25 starting pay.

$16 - $20/hr pay depending on experience for less experience, but range is still based on skills, and experience level.Benefits:

1 week paid vacation after 1st year

All major holidays off, with pay.

Sick or personal days are not paid, but we are flexible and understanding of legitimate needs, and endeavor to give people time off when needed.

We are working toward providing a portion of the employees personal health insurance policy, but this has not been initiated yet.
