Window Covering Assembly / Installation Tech - $22/hr, will train

A locally owned blinds and window coverings company based in Southeast Denver (Quebec & Evans) is seeking an Installation Professional to join the team!

We are a smaller company with a supportive, family style culture. The majority of our team members have been with us for many years. An ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience working with tools, feel comfortable with a wide range of equipment, able to work both in the warehouse and in the field doing installations. You must have a valid driver's license and clear driving record so that you can drive our company vehicles and be eligible for coverage by our insurance policy. Experience in the industry is not required, we will train the right person.JOB DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

- Install blinds, shades, shutters and other window treatments.

- Perform window treatment repairs.

- Receive customer payments.

- Maintain proper installation paperwork.

- Clean up after installation of debris, dust, etc.

- Help organize window covering orders and installation materials in shop.

- Use simple computer programs (email).EXPERIENCE, TRAITS, & SKILLS OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

- Prior general workmanship skills from any hands-on industry.

- Previous success in hands-on positions including home automation, light carpentry, other light carpentry or construction related positions is helpful, but not required.

- Self-directed and able to work independently and work as a valuable team player.

- Friendly, courteous, pleasant with all types of people.

- Ability to learn and handle new technology as introduced to the window covering and installation industry.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Communication including telephone, written and verbal communication skills are critical when interfacing with all levels of staff and clients.

- Current and valid driver's license.

- Punctual and dependable.We provide our Installers with:

- Paid training. Real-time support in the field.

- Opportunities for installer training and industry-related conferences.

- Typical working schedule ranging from 8-5 pm with Saturday assignments optionally available.

- Work vehicle for installations.

- Smart phone provided for communication and directions.

- All tools needed for installation.Hourly Employment:

$18 - $22/hr, depending upon experience.

This is a full-time hourly position, with advancement opportunities. Wage based on prior experience.

Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds and can climb up and down ladders.
