3rd Shift Position9:00pm-6:30amAn additional $2.00 for working 3 nd ShiftStarting Pay: $23.05Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work in average temperatures of 35-50 degrees or less

Following our strict sanitation requirements, including but not limited to, wearing hair nets, beard nets, and washing hands frequently, no jewelry, no nail polish, etc.

Following our strict safety requirements, including wearing a hart hat, ear/eye protection, face mask, face shield, rain suites, vinyl gloves, uniforms, and hand/foot protection

Assists operations supervisor in making sure all lines are obtaining performance goals in their department including quality, yields, efficiency, supply waste, etc. The incumbent will be responsible for keeping production lines running.

Assists operations supervisor in determining opportunities to improve overall performance of the department. This may include presenting and acting upon ideas of better work methods or staffing of personnel to maximize efficiencies.

Is responsible for educating new employees on the safety, quality, and process requirements of various positions. This would include training on the personal protective equipment required, machine hazards, fork-lift traffic, quality specification of products, etc.

Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements:

18 years and older

The ability to speak, read & write English

Basic Computer Skills

Ability to work different shifts when needed

Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment

1 year of work history in the United States

Preferred Requirements:

2 year of prior food manufacturing or sanitation experience

Driving/operating different types of industrial trucks and/or electric powered jacks

Excellent time management skills and organizational skills

Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills

Proven problem solving and decision-making skills

Excellent organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Thorough knowledge (or the ability to learn) of the data collection system/bar code labeling equipment.

Familiarity (or the ability to learn) with the operation of packaging machines and other mechanical equipment.
