Description Robert Half is recruiting for an exciting full-time, Director of Operations opportunity in Omaha, NE!The Director of Operations is responsible for short- and long-range planning, staffing, and development of a budget and policies for internal and external team members. Works through managerial and supervisory personnel to accomplish set goals and objectives. Establish policies, procedures, standards, and objectives for the provision of services; evaluates performance and maintains total quality management, coordinates with other departments to provide optimal levels of performance to clients and staff, while maintaining 24-hour accountability for US operations. Ensures the provision of services meet accepted standards and align with corporate mission.Key AccountabilitiesThe following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification. They are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all job duties performed by personnel so classified.Plans, organizes and directs site and department’s mission, vision and values in accordance with overall organizational strategy.Develops goals and objectives, establishes and implements policies and procedures for site and department operation.Reviews site and department performance, changes as needed to improve quality of services and to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Keeps personnel and management team informed of department mission, performance, needs, challenges, regulations as well as other clinical, administrative and fiscal matters pertaining to assessment, fiscal analysis, regulatory compliance and continuous quality improvement.Oversees all aspects of workforce management including but not limited to: recruitment, retention, staff development, performance management and succession planning.Responsible for overseeing the development of training/orientation and overall department staff performance through subordinate supervisory staff.Develops standards of performance, monitors and leads staff; evaluates performance and initiates or approves personnel actions such as merit increases, promotions, disciplinary actions, and career/practice development incentives.Develops and maintains job descriptions and standards of performance for all staff members.Assures competencies of all staff. Resolves staff grievances.Requirements Bachelor's degree in human resources or relevant experience

Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution

5+ years operations

Strong organization skills

Sound written and verbal communication skills

Impeccable ethics, integrity, and standards

Solid understanding of HR software and strong familiarity of MS Office

Previous experience in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

1+ years of supervisory experience
