This role will report directly to the HPS Smart Energy Sr. HSE Manager – Americas, with a matrix reporting relationship to the Nebraska City Site HSE Manager. Showcase your HSE regulatory knowledge, experience and compliance know-how, to improve overall site HSE maturity, with a focus on Environmental programs and processes.Demonstrate your ability to positively impact HSE culture change through sustained, continuous improvements for a Fortune 100 corporation.Challenge your multi-tasking abilities and concurrently managing multiple HSE-related projects while maintaining a high-level of output quality and on-time completion of assigned tasks.Key Responsibilities Implements HSE standards Provide technical assistance Site compliance reviews Strong MOS administration Advocates HOS behaviors Effective coach and role model Deploys safety initiatives Measures key HSE metrics Drives standard work Ensures compliance standardsYou Must Have Bachelor’s Degree We Value Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, manufacturing, safety, environmental science, facilities, or related field. Significant experience preparing and updating site HSE procedures and processes, ensuring alignment to Company requirements. Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations Significant knowledge of Environmental regulations (EPA, DEQ, NDEQ, etc.) NDEE Industrial Wastewater Level 2 certification Conveys information with clarity and directness, ensuring the message is understood. Effectively demonstrates ability to deliver on complex situations or problems without guidance or supervision, in a timely manner. Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) or other comparable HSE certification. Team oriented and effective public speaking skills strengths. Significant knowledge of HSE legislation and Management Systems. Some industrial hygiene practices, first aid practices, and HAZCOM. Some experience conducting root cause analysis/incident investigations and reporting. Significant oral, written, IT, and Microsoft Office skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from site Leadership, HSE peers, regulatory agencies, clients, customers and employees.
