This position is for a dynamic entertainment professional who is a seasoned procurement specialist. The best candidate will have extensive background in the movie, TV, and entertainment industry, who is adept at leading a team of production specialists, and has an extensive background in team leadership.The best candidate will have the following skillset and abilities:Very Strong sourcing and negotiation skills,Understanding of M&E addendum and legal clauses. Including understanding the legal clauses and knowing when to reach out to legal for additional assistance.Able to step out of the box, make decisions on own within policy, need to completely understand the customers policy for productions and eventsAbility to work under pressureAbility to lead a team of Production Specialists.Professional in communication and presenting skills.Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization up to and including Senior LeadershipShow a complete understanding of the entertainment business.Long term valued vendor relationships. Ability to transition to the National Sales Offices to meet objective of the customerBackground in conventions, shareholders meetings, upfronts and news markets.Strong ability to multi-task, this role will have you working on various large scale eventsBest candidate must exude confidence when dealing with the business unit.Familiar with entertainment industry trade showsFamiliar with all film festivals: Sundance, Telluride, Cannes etc.PowerPoint and Excel experienceIdentify emerging markets for production and event business.
