Description/Job SummaryLive YES! Needs Part Time Direct Support Professionals!Live YES is a program of Resources for Human Development (RHD). It is located in the metro Lincoln area. RHD Nebraska-Lincoln provides residential supports to individuals with developmental disabilities in the Lincoln metro areas. RHD Nebraska specializes in providing true person-centered services to assist individuals in facilitating a meaningful and successful life in their communities. RHD Nebraska is a member of the Nebraska Association of Service Providers (NASP).As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for our Supported Living Services at Resources for Human Development (RHD), you will provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a supported home, apartment, or community environment. Successful candidates must be enthusiastic, reliable, and motivated to assist others in building better lives for themselves, their families and their community.In this position, you will assist the individual in leading a self-determined lifestyle by providing support and information necessary to live more independently. This would include helping them with meal planning and preparation, household chores, setting goals, building self-esteem, and going on community outings.This schedule for this position varies to meet the needs of the clients, and hours worked could be up to 29 per week.
