Basic FunctionThe Sales Leader /Performance Consultant is responsible for working closely with the Learning and Enablement Team, SVP of North American Sales, VP of Human Resources and Sales Leaders throughout North America to increases sales leader capability for North American Sales Leaders. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, evaluating current programs and learnings, introducing/tracking new programs and working directly with sales leaders to assess, coach and develop Sales Leadership skills, ultimately to help drive sales performance in all markets of North America for today and beyond.May be a remote, home-based positionEssential Duties and responsibilities

Identify differentiating skills required for sales leader at WK, including differentiating experiences needed for role today and in the future.

Evaluate current WK leadership training (online, class and leader led instruction) to recommend changes to accelerate learning of sales leadership, including relevant topics and methods of delivery.

Partner with Learning and Enablement and SVP of North American Sales to develop a consistent learning/training program to enhance sales leader capabilities within the sales process and tools for all areas of new business and retention.

Partner with sales leaders to increase leader capabilities to effectively coach for performance, providing observations/feedback and support to drive outcomes.

Facilitate leader learning session throughout the year, including small groups and one on ones with sales leaders, on best demonstrated practices related to sales leadership in a matrix organization, managing virtual teams, recruiting top sales talent, leading with a data driven mindset and accelerating performance of sale team members.

Provide Sales Leaders best demonstrated practices for creating an accountable culture, communications at all levels of the organization and skills development of team members

Evaluate, own and execute the sales leadership portion of Future Leaders Program for North American Sales

Analyze and monitor on-going program effectiveness at a segment level based on defined key performance indicators. Identify and share replicable best practices.

Work with HR to evaluate a market assessment tool to evaluate and build the skill of sales leadership team.

Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience

Masters’ degree preferred.

Experience:MinimumRequires 15 years of Sales Leadership experience:

Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding target objectives in Sales Leadership role

Track record of developing sellers and leaders in a complex / matrix selling environment

Ability to work with and influence all levels of leadership.

Ability to work with and observe team member behaviors, while providing relevant feedback and coaching to enhance overall sales team performance.

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

Effective written and verbal communication skills, interacting with all levels of employees and management.

Self-starter that takes initiative; seeks out and has ability to drive change through persuasion and leadership.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Project manages with a highly collaborative style, deadline sensitive high priority programs and deliverables with a team-focused attitude.

Creative and innovative

Strong coaching and mentoring skills

Team oriented, cooperative, and flexible. Demonstrated ability to collaboratively work with a wide range of people at all levels of the organization.

Strong understanding of Sales Leadership. Proven track record of providing direct guidance and coaching to organizational stakeholders (e.g., leaders and employees) seeking expert advice. Commercially minded.

Ability to be agile and adapt to a changing environment.
