Description of WorkThe Production Coordinator connects Nebraska Public Media’s community partners (University departments, state agencies, and appropriate commercial and non-commercial clients) to the their audiences by offering the production capabilities of Nebraska Public Media. There is opportunity to manage non-broadcast media productions like meetings and corporate trainings, and more – tracking progress across departments, working collaboratively with experts in their respective fields and potentially assisting with event production. These tasks require thorough communication and attention to detail. When not working on external events, the Production Coordinator assists with internal projects. Excellent verbal/written communication skills and acute attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain working relationships with clients, particularly senior management. Demonstrated ability to promote, market, and administrate client-oriented services.Preferred QualificationsIdeal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, broadcasting, communications or related field; familiarity with media production; experience with captioning; honed organizational skills; and the ability to track progress on multiple concurrent projects.Pre-Placement Driving Record Review Required NoPhysical Required NoCommercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
