Veterinary Groomer

West Villa Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Groomer. This is a commission-based employee role (not independent contractor). We provide liability and worker’s compensation insurance, and all payroll taxes are reported and withheld on your behalf.ScheduleDay starts at 8 AM; pets scheduled to arrive by 9 AMWorkday ends when all grooms are complete and owners have been notifiedResponsibilitiesPerform bathing, brushing, blow drying, and styling for all dog breeds and catsProvide nail trims, ear cleaning/plucking, and anal gland expressionCommunicate with clients at pick-up/drop-off and when grooms are completeNotify medical staff of potential health issues or grooming-related incidentsContact clients in case of absence
