Are you looking for an opportunity in the Glacier National Park area with the potential of year-round employment? Our year-round lodging facility is located 8 miles from the West Entrance to Glacier National Park. We are looking for a task- Experience in Gmail, Google drive, Windows, Aloha and RDP and advantage. Position Summary:

Duties include checking guests in and out, issuing keys, taking reservations by telephone or email,

preparing bills and dealing with payments. The position provides guests with information, answers their queries and deal with potential complaints. This position is unique. Our receptionist will also provide coverage as an espresso barista and bartender. Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and patrons. Interacting with customers, taking orders and serving snacks and drinks. Assessing customers' needs and preferences

and making recommendations. Educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. You should also be able to work various shifts.

The primary job for this position is to exceed our guest’s expectations for outstanding customer service

while creating a warm and welcoming impression. A good receptionist is a “people person” who enjoys

working with diverse guests and is caring, friendly and efficient.

Our goal is to make each individual guest feel right at home. Our Front Desk staff will meet and greet all

our guests at point of booking, welcome them to the lodge at check in, and assist them throughout their

stay.

This candidate must remain professional and courteous to guests and coworkers while handling multiple

tasks at once with frequent interruptions. The position is part crowd control, part efficiency expert and

part guest reservation assistant facilitating check-in/check-outs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Receptionist duties include:

Front of House/Receptionist

 Greet hotel guests; answer any questions or concerns

 Provide an outstanding guest experience

 Maintain an orderly front desk

 Operate computer programs and multi-line phone systems

 Maintain guest records and book reservations

 Complete basic cashier and bookkeeping responsibilities

 Contact necessary staff to solve problems when challenges arise, ensuring guest comfort

 Handling guest enquiries on phone, online, and face-to-face, taking reservations using

computerized reservation system, general office duties, guest check in/check out, retail sales

assistant.

 Liaison with housekeeping and maintenance.

Bartending and Barista duties

 Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons

 Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks

 Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations

 Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails

 Plan and present bar menu

 Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age

 Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

 Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience

 Comply with all food and beverage regulations

 Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

 Relevant training certificates

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

 High school diploma or equivalent

 Significant work experience handling guest service responsibilities, preferably in a

hotel/reception setting

 Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and all other relevant computer

programs such as RDP and Aloha

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

 Fluent in English

 Proactive approach to dealing with issues that may arise

 Highly organized, able to multitask and prioritize and work under pressure

 Bartending and Barista capabilities a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

 Calm and clear-thinking ability to handle problems or crisis in a highly professional manner

 Superior customer service at the core

 Can work on own as well as part of a team

 Performs work well with accuracy, speed and attention to detail

 Ability to convey information and ideas clearly

 Able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately

Front of House/Receptionist

 Willing and able to work evenings, weekends and holidays

 Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information

 Clear and thorough communication skills

 Ability to follow directions thoroughly and work with minimal supervision

 Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department

 Ability to lift and move 25-35 pounds repetitively

 Applicant should take pride in their work, pay attention to detail, and be a team player

 Excellent multi-tasking skills Excellent customer service skills (in person and over the telephone)

 Experience of working in a busy, high stress environment

 Good knowledge of Glacier National Park and surrounding area (preferred but can be trained)

 Working experience of RDP, Aloha, Booking.com and Expedia a definite asset for this position.

This position will be part time in the winter, and full time in the summer with potentital full time hours in the winter.
