POSITION SUMMARY: The Quality Facilitator Nurse utilizes their nursing expertise, advanced facilitation skills, and the principles of Lean and other resources available through the institute of Healthcare Improvement (IHI) to support One Health teams with the identification of performance improvement activities and the development of standardized workflows and improvement processes. Assists with the retrieval of relevant data and its interpretation to improve and sustain enhanced processes. Coordinates Quality Improvement/Quality Assurance (QI/QA) activities and follows up with key stakeholders. Trains, coaches, and supports improvement efforts throughout the organization. This is a remote position, but the successful candidate should live within driving distance of Chinook, MT or Harlem, MT. Occasional travel to the clinic site(s) will be required (Hardin, Ashland, Miles City, Glendive, Chinook, Harlem, Lewistown, Sheridan, Powell/Greybull/Lovell). Many job tasks for this position are best done face-to-face. MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certificates/Licenses: Required

Associate’s degree in nursing.

Must possess a current, unencumbered nursing license in the State of Montana or Wyoming or the ability to attain it.

Valid driver’s license and insurability

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Lean Certification

Experience:

Required

Minimum 1-year relevant experience that encompasses group facilitation, and performance improvement activities.

Excel skills

Preferred

Data collection and data analysis using relational databases.

Experience delivering educational content/training.

1 year experience in the use of tools to accelerate process improvement such as PDSA, Root cause analysis, etc.

1 year experience in using conflict resolution skills and effective communication within a team or group.
