Backcountry Snowmobile Guide

The Snowmobile Guide is responsible for escorting guests on snowmobile tours through back country trails on Buck Ridge.

Essential Functions

Leads guests on an organized and informative trail excursion

Greets guests and provides an orientation on the proper operation of the snowmobiles and addresses ALL trail safety concerns

Adheres to safety policies and procedures to ensure safety of guests

Works in conditions that involve exposure to unusual elements and extreme temperatures

Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.

Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Required Qualifications:

Competent backcountry riding ability

Patience and personal skills is a must

Must be available to through the entirety of the snowmobile season (tentatively April 15)

Preferred Qualifications:

Avalanche 1 certification

Mechanical Skills

Previous guide experience

Familiarity with the Buck Ridge area

1st Aid & CPR certification preferred
