IT Technical Business Analyst

St. Louis, Missouri

12 month contract-to-perm Our client seeks a Technical Analyst, a highly visible and critical position with the company and the team. In this role, you will serve as the liaison between the technicians in the field, and the development team, triaging issues and escalations. You will communicate with the technicians, and coordinate technical resolutions and successful outcomes with the development team.

Required Skills:

• 5 years of technical business analysis experience
• 3 years technical documentation or technical writing experience
• Good understanding of Java/JEE along with common frameworks like Spring, Hibernate
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to fix minor bugs, defects and issues
• Ability to explain complex systems and technical topics in a clear, concise manner to others who may have minimal technical knowledge using oral, written, and visual presentations
• Previous coding or scripting experience
• Strong presentation skills (PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills:

• Previous Development experience
• Previous Support Role experience
