Currently a 50/50 on-site/remote role; fully on-site anticipated by fall Our industry-leading client in St. Louis is looking for an experienced Release Manager to ensure the delivery of Big Data application software.

Responsibilities of the Release Manager:

• Manage and coordinate the delivery of Big Data application software releases
• Leverage the Agile SDLC to manage releases from intake through deployment
• Collaborate across teams to deliver releases on schedule and within budget
• Lead Release Scrum meetings and facilitate Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions

Requirements of the Release Manager:

• At least 10 years of experience:
  • Leading IT application software releases
  • Leading IT application development using Agile SDLC methodology
  • Managing IT release delivery using Scrum methodology
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams
• At least 5 years of experience:
  • Leading Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions
  • Supporting process and workflow development
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Applications - Word, Excel, PPT, Project, Outlook
• Understanding of big data technologies and application development
• Excellent problem-solving skills; effective communication skills
