ASSEMBLER/PACKER-ST. LOUIS (KIRKWOOD AREA)TEMP TO HIRE2ND SHIFT: 4:40 PM TO 3:10 AM, MON- THUR (4/10-HR SHIFTS)Must be able to work overtime as needed, including Friday’s and Saturday's.$13.25 PER HOURJob Summary:Perform specific duties according to SOP's within the Disposable Packs Department, either by the use of both hands or by using machinery when assigned.

Assembly of subassemblies, final assemblies, and final packaging of single use surgical component

Taking direction from assigned point people, Lead(s), or Supervision.

Working autonomously with little or no direction after being assigned.

Sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time as required.

Job rotation, where needed and as needed.

Repeated use of hands and fingers. (pinching, pushing and packaging)

Manual assembly of very small parts

Rotate to back line as needed:Label corrugated boxes.

Manually fill finished goods into corrugated boxes.

Stacking/orienting boxes onto a pallet.

Safely operating stretch wrap machine.

Safely operating and loading automatic box erecting machine.

Re-stocking corrugated cardboard in packaging area.

Transferring finished product from packaging to shipping area using a manual pallet jack.

Requirements:Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.

Ability to work independently and safely at all times.

Be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.

Flexible to work in other areas as required.

Ability to use hands and fingers in a full range of motion (pinching, pushing and packaging).

Prior assembly, packaging and/or production preferred.

FDA Regulations require PPE during various stages of assembly and packaging. All PPE is provided and must be worn properly. May include:Face Masks required at all times when in the work area.

Surgical Gloves (hypo allergenic NOT Latex)

Hair Coverings

Beard Covering (if needed)

Shoe coverings
