Job title Senior Business Development Manager Work Location St. Louis Position Type Fulltime/Direct Hire Job SummaryThe Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying client key initiatives and bringing those project or solutions opportunities through the sales and delivery process and successfully present and close business for the organization. Job ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and selling solutions to current and prospective customers. They will need to build credibility quickly with key stakeholders in Senior IT Leadership roles and uncover client key initiatives, understand their business impact, and partner actively with our delivery organization to present and position differentiated solutions to the client. Identification of new opportunities, solicitation, qualification, procurement, management, and closure of sales opportunities relating to the sale of Managed Solutions products and services.This includes targeting specific accounts, prospecting, networking, and account development within the assigned territory or as otherwise defined; Maintain a prospect pipeline sufficient to achieve business targets; Solicitation, qualification, procurement, management and closure of opportunities referred by the field or other business lines relating to the sale of Management Solutions products and services; Coordination of the preparation of all sales proposals, RFP's, RFI's, and other solicitation of information from current or prospective customers; Qualification of sales opportunities, including completion of a risk and opportunity assessment checklist; Negotiates client contracts according to standard policies and specifications; Ongoing account management and development for the purpose of securing and growing business opportunities within assigned accounts; Weekly sales activity reporting in required systems.Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
10+ years' experience in the services or management consulting field. Financial Services experience (Banking a plus) Proven recent history of success in new major account development, selling to senior IT and line of business executives, managers, and influencers. Proven experience in developing and executing a successful territory strategy. Experience (and prior success) with:o Enterprise level or strategic SOW/Project-based IT or business solutions; oro Complex software development or sophisticated information technology solutions/services; or,o IT sourcing or consulting services involving high level IT buyers in mid-to-large sized companies. Excellent understanding of technology buying centers. Excellent oral and written presentation skills with the ability to develop and conduct effective presentations. Experience is a collaborative team-selling environment with the ability to actively partner with internal resources to prioritize and penetrate key accounts and quickly build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive and/or travel 70% of the time
