EXPERIENCED AUTO BODY TECHNICIAN NEEDED

Automotive Body Technician Job Summary:

The Automotive body technician is responsible for making repairs to all assigned vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition in accordance with industry standards.

Automotive Body Technicians Responsibilities and Duties:

Disassemble vehicles and related parts

Body work in accordance with the repair plan

Reassemble vehicles once all repairs are complete

Communicate status clearly to body shop manager

Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner

Follow all company safety procedures

High production capabilities

Detail-oriented

Repair or replace mechanical parts

Perform structural repairs and/or replacement repairs

Perform different types of sheet metal welding and metal finishing

Re-assemble painted vehicle and painted parts

Automotive Body Technicians Qualifications and Skills:

Positive team-player attitude with a desire to learn and succeed in the industry

High-school diploma (or equivalent) preferred

Must be able to work independently without close supervision, and be flexible/adaptable to constant change

Must have own tools

Keep personal work area organized and clean
