Software Engineer
Missouri, Springfield, 65801 Springfield USACurrently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Engineer to join our team in the Springfield, VA area.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide expert guidance on Enterprise Asset Management.
Identify, recommend, and implement agreed upon leading industry practices, process methodologies, new technologies, and streamlined approaches that afford the client the ability to improve system performance.
Provide support to maintain IBM's Maximo to ensure that all Maximo Users have a stable platform to perform daily operations.
Support reporting capabilities and requirements that streamline and reduce where possible, the manual input of existing data.
Provide technical and business-level assistance, incident resolution, and daily support to the Maximo user community.
Maintain and enhance the functionality, reliability, availability, performance, stability, sustainability, and security of the Maximo application and its databases and tools.
Implement best practices, create and improve existing Maximo workflows to manage work management, logistics, and property management processes.
Oversee the validation and testing of deliverable products in accordance with our customer's approved processes.
Provide installations, customizations and design changes for software and hardware products.
Provide support to a wide array of customers as part of a complex team of multiple contractors and government personnel.
Write SQL scripts to support various aspects of customer support and Maximo Development requirements.
Develop and manage queries, ad hoc reports, and KPI’s.
Manage and observe data quality and health throughout front-end database.
Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and 9 years of relevant experience.
Experience with JavaScript, Linux/Unix, Perl, Shell, Java, Ruby, PHP, Python, Hands-On SQL, Microsoft ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Node.js.
DoD 8570.01-M compliant, IAT II. (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP)
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Linux environments.
Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or similar certification.
Requires understanding of the RedHat OpenShift cluster to include basic operations of backup, restore and failover/redundancy of services.
Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years of Maximo Development experience.
Maximo versions: at least Maximo 7.6. Able to work on upgrades and development on 7.6.1.2.
Maximo modules: must be able to work on all Maximo modules and functionalities, including Work Order Management, Asset Management, Preventive and Corrective Maintenance, Configuration, Scripting, Report Development, Maximo Interfaces with other systems like ERP.
Development and maintenance experience with Maximo including TRM rules, Maximo automation scripting, BIRT Reports Development, and work order reports.
Provide service for GIS geodatabase editing, data creation and maintenance for applications and as needed.
Experience of ArcGIS Server management tools to deploy and manage map and web services
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must have current/active TS/SCI clearance.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
