Position Summary The Architect, Workforce Applications role works within the Global IT organization as part of the Digital Business Solutions team with a focus on providing direction on strategic solutions related to HR and Reliance capabilities. HR applications include SAP Success Factors: Employee Central, Compensation and Learning & Talent Management as well as Boomi Integrations and other various HR & Reliance applications. The candidate for this role should have a depth of experience deploying and maintaining HR applications & integrations, coordination, and participation of E2E HR Process design demonstrating enterprise thinking, working with sensitive employee data, and strength in strategic technology solutions.

Accountabilities
  • Develops solution strategy that enables future strategic direction focused on key customer leadership
  • Stays current with NexGen capabilities and identifies where and when to apply them to Energizers portfolio focused on transforming business processes
  • Participates and leads all major Projects for HR & Reliance
  • Develops a strong relationship with key business partners and is seen as the IT Solution Expert for HR and Reliance Applications
  • Demonstrates enterprise thinking while focusing on the overall employee experience, by coordinating and recommending changes to HR processes and systems
  • Attends onsite blueprint sessions providing strategic design guidance when necessary ensuring the implementation aligns to functional objectives
  • Has final Design Signoff for HR & Reliance applications responsibility while ensuring designs support the agreed strategic solution and future technology direction
  • Develops and implements new capabilities in support of HR & Reliance teams
  • Actively participates in Functional Board(s), responsible for continuous alignment of strategic solutions working in partnership with the area's delivery lead to manage resource demand.
  • Participates in PMO meetings to ensure proper progress is being made while driving solutions and mitigations of complex risks and issues
  • Viewed as the Functional Expert with depth in Technical Expertise in HR Systems and Processes
Required Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years working with HR applications
  • 6+ years of ERP experience
  • 4+ years of experience with SAP SuccessFactors: Employee Central, Compensation, and Learning & Talent Management.
  • 4+ years experience with Payroll systems and processes, Kronos & Boomi Integration
  • Demonstrated knowledge of GDPR
  • Demonstrated understanding of project management principles.
  • Strong solution architecture skills and the ability to think across both application and infrastructure landscapes to determine solutions and solve problems.
  • Strong understanding of human resource management principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently with little oversight
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to coach and lead others to deliver business results.
  • Creative, entrepreneurial approach to technology possibilities.
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience with a large multi-national company.
  • Experience within the Consumer Package Goods industry.
Working Relationships & Environment
  • Reports to Sr. Manager, Commercial & FC, and Workforce Productivity Applications
  • Key relationships internally with Global IT Team, HR & Reliance Leadership & Stakeholders, and HR & Corporate Communication Management
Work Environment
  • Periodic travel required.
