RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking an Associate Project Manager/PMO Analyst to assist in some PM administrative tasks. This is a great opportunity to learn the ins and outs of project management. The client is looking for an individual who has a keen desire to partner, implement, learn, and improve the Budgetary and Analysis Processes in the project management office (PMO).

Duties Include: Compiles Budgetary metrics relating to IT project monthly spend vs forecasts Partners with PM's and various teams to ensure accruals and actuals reported are being captured correctly and are forecasted correctly Works closely with the PM's and Resource Managers to ensure resources are aligned to the correct projects for reporting accuracy Performs Analysis work as required in Excel Partners with PM's and performs audits on PM deliverables to ensure compliance with IT PMO standards Tracks costs and performance, service levels and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are met Serves as a resource to project managers and project leaders to educate and assist them with implementing project management processes and making improvement/changes Provides administrative support to project managers and project leaders Ensures project control systems are in place and integrates project data for decision makers Coordinates and works with internal and external parties to organize the various components needed to initiate, run, and conclude major projects

REQUIREMENTS: Should be in the details as it relates to the Projects and Budgets Good knowledge of Excel, Finance or Budget process Ability to assist with the management of diverse and strategic projects Basic understanding of program and project budgets Basic understanding of implementing project plans, monitoring progress, resource usage and quality Basic knowledge of project management disciplines Deep analytical mind to question Detail oriented Very strong communication skills desired; To be able to articulate in brevity
