RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking a Junior Tableau Developer.

Overview:The Report and Dashboard Developer is responsible for analyzing data, developing reports and dashboards in SQL Server Reporting Services 2016, Power BI, Tableau, and other tools, as well as collecting requirements and assisting with data analysis. The Data Analyst/Front End Developer will be part of the Business Analytics team.

You are responsible for the design and development of dashboards to meet client requirements. You will meet directly with the clients and understand their business need, collect specific requirements, analyze the underlying data, work with the ETL developers to ensure data accuracy, design visualizations using best practices, design the organization of visualizations into a cohesive dashboard and demonstrate the solution to the client. Additional duties include working with the QA team to ensure best practices are followed and there is sufficient data quality. You will also assist with project planning activities and helping to ensure projects stay within scope and on schedule.

REQUIREMENTS: BS in Computer Science 1 year of professional experience in data visualization techniques and analyzing data 1 year of hands on experience with SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, QlikView or similar data analytic tool Strong Excel skills Hands on experience in writing SQL Queries Experience with statistical techniques Experience with SharePoint Dashboard application is a plus Can be an entry level candidate but must have an interest in data and learning Tableau development We are seeking a driven, hands-on problem solver with an eye for visualization techniques Ability to operate well in a group and independently
