Project Manager eSystems is a Systems Integrator with immaculate track record in delivering projects on schedule and budget for more than 20 years. We have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned, passionate project manager with “Can do” attitude to manage a large state project and potential for growth in the organization. The project manager will play an important role in the success of the project as well as growth of the account and eSystems. Responsibilities
The Project Manager shall be responsible for the day-to-day management of contract activities and success and oversight of the project
Project Manager shall provide overall governance, technical direction, and control of contractor project personnel, a framework for project planning, communication, reporting, and procedural and contractual activity.
Project Manager shall be the liaison between the state agency MEDES Project Director on all project activities and the project team
Project Manager shall be proactive in notifying the state agency of any developing situation that may impact operations, systems operability, scheduled deadlines, etc.
Project Manager shall recognize recurring problems and inefficiencies, address procedural issues, and contain, mitigate, or reduce the impact of problems that occur
Project Manager shall provide the State Project Director and the project team with status reports two days prior to the regularly scheduled weekly meetings, and shall participate in regular weekly meetings to review pending and past changes, problems, and actions taken within the prior week, and actions that will occur within the next four weeks
Project Manager shall report risks, issues, action items, and decisions on appropriate logs as directed by the State agency
Project Manager shall provide assistance to the state agency in explanation of reports regarding problem resolution and root cause analysis of problems
Project Manager, with the assistance of eSystems technical experts, shall identify and present improvements, enhancements, and/or changes being made in accordance with the Change Management Plan
Project Manager shall review the contract and contractual responsibilities with the State Project Director
Project Manager shall maintain project communications through the State Project Director, and shall participate in regularly scheduled status review meetings with available stakeholders from the state agency
Project Manager shall follow the project management processes outlined in the State’s project management plans
Project Manager shall establish documentation and procedural standards for deliverable materials (e.g. project deliverable acceptance forms, invoices, etc.)
The project manager is responsible for project financials including revenue and profitability of the project
Provide weekly status to the eSystems executive steering committee
Participate in eSystems scheduled meetings
Help in business growth in Missouri as well as help in responding to other eSystems RFPs
Mentor direct reports and other project managers
Required Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
An active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance
Minimum of 10 years project management experience
Minimum of seven years of HHS experience delivering Medicaid, SNAP, and TANF programs
Knowledge and experience with SNAP is required
At least one project experience and knowledge in implementing the SNAP eligibility and enrollment system in other states, including successful completion of the FNS/CMS required reviews and meeting FNS timelines
Minimum three years of Agile experience preferably SAFe Agile
Hands-on project schedule development and update experience
IBM Cúram experience is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication is a must
