Find your future with us.Boeing IT Product Systems is looking for a Senior Programmer/Analyst for the IT Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) team. The Manufacturing Execution Systems used by BCA (Velocity and CMES) and BDS (MESci) are the digital heartbeat of our factories at Boeing. Over 70,000 of people rely on these systems to be stable every single day of the year, and Boeing IT Product Systems is seeking a Programmer Analyst (Level 4) to be responsible for full stack development and maintenance of them. This will include their core features and integrations with other systems.Position Responsibilities:System enhancements and break fixes

System integration development and maintenance

Software security scanning and resolutions

Technical debt mitigations, including application rewrites due to technical obsolescence

System Compliance maintenance and Documentation

System Change Management and Documentation

System Configuration Management

Partnering with business functional SMEs and interfacing system developers for requirements, design, testing, deployment, and support

Continuous learning to gain expertise on system functionality, data schemas, environments, configurations, integrations, and related business processes

Production Support, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions

Product Management, Coordination

Effective, comprehensive communication skills, written and verbal

Self-directed, operates independently with a well-defined SOW; leads others in pursuit of common objectives

Handling sensitive information and export-controlled data

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)5+ years of professional IT experience, preferably in an application development role, performing core activities across the software lifecycle- from requirements gathering and design to coding, testing, integrations, deployments, and production support

5+ years of direct or equivalent experience performing technical trouble-shooting, testing, debugging and optimization of software

5+ years of relevant experience and proficiency with programming web and (backend) server applications in Java, Angular and ASP.NET

5+ years of relevant experience and proficiency with system integration and maintenance using JMS (Java Message Service), JBOSS Fuse/Camel, XML, and XSLT

5+ years of relevant experience and proficiency with relational databases, writing SQL scripts using SQL Server and/or Oracle

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience working with multiple enterprise applications, in different languages, with multiple points of external integration

Experience working with common industry development tools such as Unix scripts, Kotlin, Javascript (Angular, React JS), Spring Boot, Cloud(PCF), CI/CD, Visual Studio, JetBrains Suite, Automated Test Suites (e.g. NUnit, XUnit), Git, GitLab, MVC, NuGet, Artifactory

Experience working with WebSphere, Windows, and Linux servers

Experience working with WebSphere, Perl, Spring Boot, Git, GitLab,

Experience working with system integration toolsets and methodologies (e.g. ETL, Autosys, Pub/Sub, JSON, RESTful Web Services)

Experience working with common industry development tools such as, Visual Studio, JetBrains Suite

Experience working with application security models and controls.

Experience working with Azure Dev Ops (ADO) and Agile (Scrum, SAFe)
