Automation Support Specialist

The Automation Support Specialist will oversee automated order processing programs that directly impact print and fulfillment operations. This position will work closely with Workflow teams to understand and navigate both the physical workflow and technical workflow from the start of each process through completion. The Automation Support Specialist utilizes technical expertise and analytical skills to supervise processing success and troubleshoot/resolve any issues encountered. This position will also interface with the business as a main point of contact for matters related to automated workflows and potential technical solutions that can improve qu ality and efficiency

• Oversee and confirm success of automated processing workflows
• Work with business and our customers to identify workflow improvements
• Work with IT team to evaluate and execute improvements
• Support automated processes, both existing and new, for maximizing efficiency, and effectiveness. Design process layout to coordinate activities and production planning to ensure products meet quality standards while minimizing production problems and costs.
• Act as a technical resource to the plant personnel and other departments to address and resolve inquiries and problems related to assigned functions
• Analyses department procedures regarding quality, cost effectiveness, accuracy, efficiency, and productivity.
• Effectively communicates both written and verbal instructions in a timely and clear fashion.
• Monitors and documents plans and performance against production viability.
• Implements training and process improvement actions.
• Technical experience in the following areas preferred: SQL, Mail Processing, Variable Print, ERP, Warehousing/Fulfillment
