RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is looking for a Lead Product Manager for a long term, contract opportunity. This project will start as a 6-month contract and extends in 6-month increments (based on performance!) through 2021 and likely beyond. This role is remote, CST working hours.
Summary:In this role, you support projects related to Transportation, Logistics and Warehouse Management systems, out of their distribution center. We are specifically looking for candidates who have focused on the transportation aspect of the retail & order fulfillment process.REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years in product management or business analysis roles - working with business stakeholders, gathering requirements, writing user stories, and working with development teams Experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation Will be working closely with internal dev teams, vendors to help with the migration work, etc. Will be partnering with the business to gather and understand the requirements, understand current and future process, etc. Experience in logistics/warehouse management and transportation management projects area Looking for someone who has worked in a distribution center environment on transportation, logistics or warehouse management, or material handling systems (i.e. Manhattan, Thompkins, WynRight, ProShip, etc.)Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
