Our work depends on a Project Manager: Electronic Health Record System – Health IT joining our team to support our software development and support contract. This a remoted-based role . Candidate must live in the U.S.At GDIT, we put our people first. As a Project Manager supporting the Indian Health Service you will be trusted to work with clinicians, developers, and federal staff to document changes and requirements for clinical applications and solutions.In this role, a typical day will include these tasks:Analyze user and stakeholder needs to determine business and functional requirements for a wide variety of electronic health record systems.

Provide technical, administrative, and operational management of a variety of development efforts ranging from simple to complex.

Supervise assigned project teams to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.

Drive the development of high-level project plans, proposals, reports, and reporting.

Conduct planning and provide recommendations to client on task workload.

Participate in iterative software development teams with adherence to all reporting requirements.

Attend and schedule customer meetings, keep and deliver meeting notes, and serve as primary client liaison for their assigned projects.

Generate recommendations in the form of technical briefings, reports, and other major documents provided to senior level client personnel.

Write and update project documentation including user manuals, presentations, and training materials.

Respond to inquiries from the client, clinicians, field personnel, developers, and other customers.

Perform quality control and ensure quality assurance of project deliverables.

Submit project status and other assigned reports to the PMO and other stakeholders.

Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.

Participate in special projects as required.

Opportunity to work from home with a geographically dispersed team.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.

5+ years of experience with requirements analysis and engineering using SDLC Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Project Management Professional certification (PMP) or Agile certification such as Scrum Alliance CSM or Scaled Agile SAFe required.

Experience managing change control activities, including product backlogs, scope management, and impact and gap analysis.

Knowledge of system development methodology and project management.

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications, including Microsoft Project.

Experience managing multi-team development efforts.

Proven ability to work on a remote/distributed team.

Experience with Health IT and EHR systems, a plus.

Knowledge of the Indian Health Service and/or Department of Veterans Affairs environments, a plus.

Knowledge of Planview and/or Unanet, a plus.

Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team with adjusting priorities and deadlines.

Security Clearance LevelMust be able to obtain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.

Preferred QualificationsExperience working with electronic health record systems and/or in Health IT (HIT).

Knowledge of the VA and IHS environments, RPMS or legacy VistA.

Working knowledge of Team Foundation Server and/or Azure DevOps.
