Carpenter - DIRECT HIRE!

Job Description

• Accurately measure, cut, and shape lumber, wood, and other building materials
• Set and/or frame floor and roof trusses
• Install exterior siding, soffit, & fascia
• Layout walls & build stairs
• Perform carpentry duties, including both rough and finish carpentry
• Attach building materials using screws, nuts, and bolts
• Erect temporary structures such as scaffolds and hoists
• Perform cleanup of job sites by clearing away debris and waste

• Operate and care for construction equipment and machines
• Assist equipment operator, and others when necessary Ex. HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting
• Ready to learn new tasks through on-the-job training when necessary
• Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
• Load or unload construction materials
• Maintain safe and clean job site by handling & storing materials properly.

• Set door frames, doors, and hardware
• Install windows & patio doors
• Install interior millwork
• Installation of cabinetry
• Install flooring
• Install appliances and other equipment
• Install mirrors, shower bars, décor, and other finishing touches

Qualifications

• Must work well in a team environment yet be able to work independently when necessary
• Ability to respond to continually changing priorities and working on multiple projects
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
• Must pass criminal background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

• Minimum 2 year previous experience required
• Proficient in using tools such as saws, sanders, drills, planers, etc.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds as needed
• Comfortable with ladders & heights
