Engineering Manager-Off RoadDescription

Lead the development and release of the engineering management systems and maintain product cost estimates/roll ups for the systems under early stages of development.

Supervise the engineering team responsible for designing, developing and releasing assigned projects.

Serve as the primary technical contact and be able to speak to technical program aspects with program management, manufacturing, purchasing, and finance.

Analyze and demonstrate new technologies, design implementation, product development, and solutions to technical problems.

Support the technical coordination and optimization with other technical areas (design, development, analysis, electrical/control systems, testing) to achieve program targets (cost, timing, functionality, durability, range/fuel economy, performance, emissions, drivability, NVH, and compliance to standards.

Develop and adhere to engineering budgets for projects.

Present results and recommendations to internal teams and external customers.

Support the development of long-term product strategy.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited 4-year program

Years of Experience: 5 or more years of engineering experience required

Software Knowledge: Unigraphics and NX
