StratX IT Solutions is looking for a full-time IT Help Desk Technician to provide remote support to our client base out of our St. Cloud, MN office. Our newest StratXian is a highly proactive and reliable person capable of working independently and as part of a team, completing and escalating incidents as needed.

Our technicians provide front line support by managing tickets on a variety of issues every day giving them the ability to learn something new almost daily and build their technical skills constantly. It is important that our new StratXian have

Excellent verbal & written communication skills; excellent customer service & organizational skills

Strong work ethic; accountability to yourself, your team and our clients

Proficiency with

- Desktop applications (Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, VPN access, Adobe, and more)

- Microsoft Office 365 and other hosted email solutions

- Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS & DHCP

Proven ability to troubleshoot network printers, UPS devices, tablets and mobile devices

Experience with virus removal and peripheral devices (scanners, monitors, webcams, etc.)

Experience with WAPs, routers, firewalls, and network switches

Understanding of Microsoft Exchange Server and backup software

2+ years of customer service experience in a technology company

Solid technical troubleshooting skills

Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively

Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
