Full Stack Developer

Full Stack DeveloperJob Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Full Stack Developer for a contract position in Richfield, MN. Opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Developing Groovy/Spring and Spring Boot APIs to support web applications
• Developing React web applications with node.js (This is growth area for our products and our team)
• Aggressive refactoring
• Object Oriented Programming and Service Oriented Architecture design along with REST

• At least 4 years of relevant application software development experience
• Test-Driven Development
• High proficiency developing with Spring using Java or Groovy
• Medium proficiency developing with React and Node.js (This is growth area for our products and our team)
• Experience with emergent design and paired programming
• Strong unit-testing skills (Spock in particular)
• Able to participate in the planning process: take high level design discussions and create user stories, then further break those stories into tasks.

• Good social and communication skills
• Team oriented focus. Ability to understand another's viewpoint and have a constructive code review discussion.
• Takes initiative, self-starter. Able to identify work that needs to be done on their own.
• Automated deployment pipelines (Jenkins preferred)
• Experience with caching
• Experience working in a Continuous Integration environment
• Experience with functional testing frameworks
• Experience with Kafka or Message Queuing Technologies (IBM MQ, Rabbit)
• Experience with some sort of RDBMS (Oracle, Mysql, Cockroach, etc)
