The Digital & Technology team supporting the Convenience & Foodservice Segment is looking for someone with a curious mind, demonstrated understanding of how to create successful technical solutions, and a desire to enable growth for General Mills. In this role you will partner with business leaders to achieve results by leveraging the full suite of D&T capabilities including: Process improvement, transformation, problem solving and technology. We need your help in solving complex, and ambiguous issues that cut across Sales, Marketing, and Digital Capabilities. While technology is interwoven in everything we do, the ideal candidate for this role will have existing experience in Sales & Marketing (Traditional, eCommerce and Website Effectiveness) and can look at problems through a systematic lens. In this role you will be exposed to, and may support: Connected Data, Connected Commerce, Salesforce Capabilities, SRM and Google Cloud Capabilities. This role supports Convenience & Foodservice through leading successful solutions and project execution in partnership with other D&T capability experts and C&F business partners. Sr Solutions Analyst is a multi-faceted role.

50% of your time will be spent defining and leading solutions across the C&F Segment
  • Partnering with C&F to benchmark and design the technical components for key solutions
  • Achieve results by leveraging D&T Capabilities
  • Provide Continuous Improvement consultation and facilitation
  • Identify collaboration opportunities across Functions and Segments
  • Serve as the voice of the business to D&T
  • Partner closely with the enterprise technical teams to ensure C&F has a performant and resilient architecture.

50% of your time will be spent driving execution.
  • Provide complete project management support to key C&F projects
  • Active participation in agile ceremonies as related to our Product Teams
  • Hold others accountable for deliverables and outcomes
  • Provide coaching to others within the segment leading project efforts
  • Provide feedback on the process and input to future activities

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Leverage Digital & Technology Capabilities to drive Business Value
  • Partner with C&F & Solution Managers to develop a capabilities roadmap
  • Partner with C&F and Enterprise Architecture to translate capabilities into a tech-stack
  • Define solutions for key programs and/or projects - with an end user lens
  • Design solutions that drive integration and connected data opportunities
  • Assure data quality and governance are in place

Optimize Operations for today
  • Drive work forward through clearly articulated value and success criteria
  • Leverage enterprise scale where appropriate
  • Assure operational stability, scalability & reliability for all solutions
  • Maintain, update and troubleshoot current systems and tools
  • Support efficient and effective operations through process improvement initiatives
  • Consult, advise and provide subject matter expertise as required

Thought Leadership for tomorrow
  • Lead discovery projects, POCs and experiments with Solution Manager and C&F Partners
  • Manage and drive career experiences (keep current with new technologies)
  • Hyperaware of external conditions & capabilities (benchmarking)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4+ years total work experience
  • BS/BA Computer Science /MMIS degree or equivalent experience
  • Committed to work in D&T's Engage Pillar culture of Lead, Partner & Deliver
  • Committed to work in C&F's culture of Learning, Belonging & Accountability
  • Experience in an Agile delivery/Product Team environment
  • Demonstrated experience of strong communication skills; Commercial & Technical acumen

  • Ability to research, plan, organize, lead, and implement new processes or technology
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment yet independently productive
  • Demonstrated ability to span geographic and time zone constraints to collaborate on solutions
  • Effective analytical and technical skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Formal education or experience in a Sales & Marketing environment
  • Experience working in an Agile/Product Team environment
  • Experience on a Data, Analytics and Insights team
