We operate in accordance with the highest standards of judgment, integrity, and ethical leadership to find creative solutions that best serve our customers, prudently manage risks, and contribute to Wells Fargo’s enterprise success.Responsible for monitoring, reviewing and analyzing state and federal legislation and regulations for all areas of the Corporation. Primary responsibilities include researching and analyzing state and federal regulations, legislation, and other regulatory issuances to ascertain compliance requirements applicable to the Corporation; preparing high-level summary of the applicable provisions; and ensuring proper notification of regulatory changes to affected Law Department and compliance teams based on understanding of Corporation’s functional risk framework. Responds to inquiries concerning new regulatory changes and proposed regulatory changes. Prepares reports of new regulatory changes. Attentive to regulatory changes and trends affecting the financial services industry.Required Qualifications:2+ years of experience as a practicing attorney

Active State Bar membership

Desired Qualifications:Ability to research law and regulations and develop advice with respect to complex legal issues using public as well as company websites and databases

Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Experience preparing legal memoranda for senior attorneys and business leaders

Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work while handling multiple matters

Ability to work effectively in a complex environment with a high degree of collaboration

Effective in building partnerships, functioning well with project teams, and working for the success of the team

Experience working with changing priorities and deadlines
