Description The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for all aspects of networking, communications, and collaboration across 30+ US based locations. Our network is comprised of mission critical services requiring stability, reliability, and performance optimization. Key areas of responsibility include Data Center Networking, Cloud/LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, Firewalls, Authentication, Telephony and Collaboration.In addition to the management of the network infrastructure, this role is also the Network Architect designing and implementing network solutions and services to support the current and future needs of the organization. This position will also serve as a project owner and escalation resource for all network related technical activities.The successful candidate will have a strong desire to identify areas of improvement, design solutions, and see them through to completion in this rapidly changing area of technology. As our organization’s application and data consumption model shifts, our network team is focused on building the infrastructure needed to ensure reliable access across all methods to connect to our network. Our team desires to anticipate our users’ needs and deliver solutions that exceed their expectations.Duties and Responsibilities:● Responsible for:○ Data Center Networking○ Firewalls and Authentication Infrastructure○ SD-WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi across our branches nationwide○ Collaboration tool solutions and support including Cloud driven Phone System, Customer Service Contact Center Tools and Services, Hybrid Working Video Meeting and Collaboration tools, and all Hybrid Meeting Room technologies● Implementing projects and troubleshooting on the front lines with other network engineers.● Creating and presenting project proposals to upper management and C-suite executives.● Maintain project momentum and communicate project plans and status to upper management and executives.● Communicate to and engage with internal business partners and key stakeholders.● Monitor, assess, and report on network and server bandwidth and resource utilization.● Coordinate and execute upon approved adjustments and changes that increase performance and availability of the network.● Provide ongoing review of capacity requirements to align with operational requirements and budget planning.● Provide network design, security analysis/design and implementation, definition and coordination of standards, project management, and technology research.● When necessary, work in concert with software and hardware vendors for problem resolution.● Provide advance notification of all planned system and network outages and set realistic expectations on availability.● Coordinate and communicate closely with management and help desk during all unplanned outages.● Provide up-to-date system and network documentation and inventories of all equipment.● Manage all related vendor support contracts for hardware, software, circuits, connectivity, etc. aligned to the operating needs of the company.● Establish and maintain network budget as well as timely processing of invoices related to operating and capital expenses.● Maintain all vendor relationships and contracts to achieve strategic, service delivery and financial goals.Requirements - 5+ years networking experience

Quality experience with Firewall Technologies

Cisco ASA experience

General familiarity with documentation

Earlier work involving Meraki

Cisco Routers experience preferred

Proven knowledge of configuration management

Command of Checkpoint

Practical knowledge of Eigrp

Wide ranging experience with Cisco ASA Firewall

Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) experience

Cisco Technologies experience highly desired

Well-founded grasp of design
