Patient Registration

Description The Robert Half Healthcare Practice is currently seeking a motivated and talented candidate for a Patient Registration Representative role with one of our well-respected clients in the Minneapolis area. Make a difference in the healthcare system by providing high level customer service with an experienced and accomplished company within the industry. We are looking for candidates who can be heavily relied upon, have a knack for providing excellent service, and are eager to start or further develop your career in the healthcare industry!Duties for this Patient Registration Representative for this company will be responsible for but not limited to:Interviewing incoming patients to gather demographics, insurance, and emergency information

Ensuring completion of vital paperwork, proper sign-in and security procedures prior to admission into the hospital system

Discussing hospital policies with patients

Preparing and distributing patient identification bands

Arranging for transportation to designated hospital rooms

Providing all around excellent customer service to help sustain a warm environment

Requirements

RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED

Experience with excellent customer service

Ability to manage multiple systems simultaneously

MS Office experience and excellent typing skills

Must be able to demonstrate critical thinking skills and have high attention to detail

Experience working in a healthcare environment (preferred)

Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)

Healthcare access certification (preferred)
